The building is of standard construction being a concrete portal frame under a pitched cladded roof with mass concrete walls and concrete floors.
The subject property is the only five storey building in the estate. There are some voids in the concrete flooring which were most likely made to accommodate heavy machinery for manufacturing or printing etc. It would appear that it may have originally been purpose built for a particular manufacturing or other process such as a print works.
